Authorized Booking Agent Overview (Automobile Transport Only)
Quantum Logistics is seeking Authorized Booking Agents with experience in automobile transport dispatching who are detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and execution driven. Authorized Booking Agents operate under Quantum Logistics’ broker authority to coordinate carriers, execute bookings, and support vehicle transport operations across approved automotive platforms.
This program is designed for auto transport execution only. It is not a freight sales role, not a shipper-facing position, and does not include general freight, LTL, or FTL dispatching.
What An Authorized Booking Agent Is — And Is Not
An Authorized Booking Agent is an execution-only operational role. Booking Agents coordinate carrier movement for automobile transport shipments already available through approved systems.
Authorized Booking Agents:
-
Execute bookings under broker authority
-
Coordinate approved carriers and vehicle movement
-
Support documentation, updates, and claims intake
Authorized Booking Agents do not:
-
Source or sell freight
-
List or advertise vehicles
-
Represent shipper pricing
-
Collect or handle funds
This structure ensures operational clarity, platform compliance, and risk containment.
How This Role Differs From A Freight Agent
A Freight Agent is a sales-based role focused on sourcing shippers, building customer relationships, and generating freight revenue. Freight Agents are shipper-facing and typically earn commissions based on broker margin.
An Authorized Booking Agent does not sell freight, does not manage customers, and does not build a book of business. The role is limited to execution, coordination, and compliance within auto transport operations.
These are distinct programs with different responsibilities, authority, and compensation models.
